Acceptance of terms
By using WasteCalc API, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Service description
WasteCalc API provides construction and demolition waste estimation data via REST API. The service includes waste category totals, dumpster sizing recommendations, tipping fee estimates, recycling diversion percentages, and EPA regulatory flag data.
API usage
- Your API key is for your use only. Do not share or publicly expose your API key.
- You may not use the API to build a competing waste estimation data product or resell the raw data.
- You may embed API output in your own software products, reports, and tools.
- Rate limits apply per plan. Exceeding limits will result in 429 responses; you will not be charged for failed requests.
Data accuracy disclaimer
Waste estimates are based on EPA generation rates and publicly available county fee schedules. Actual waste volumes and costs may vary. WasteCalc API data is not a substitute for a professional waste assessment. Do not use this data as the sole basis for regulatory compliance decisions.
Availability
Starter and Pro plans: best-effort uptime. Enterprise plan: 99.9% uptime SLA with status page. Planned maintenance will be announced 48 hours in advance.
Payment and billing
Subscriptions are billed monthly. Overage charges apply per your plan rate. All payments are processed by Stripe. Refunds are at our discretion for technical failures on our end.
Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of your billing period. We may terminate access for violations of acceptable use with 24 hours notice (immediate for abuse).
Limitation of liability
WasteCalc API is provided "as is". We are not liable for consequential, incidental, or indirect damages arising from use of the service.
