Each call to /v1/estimate counts as 1 request against your monthly quota. Lookup endpoints (/v1/tipping-fees, /v1/waste-rates, /v1/dumpster-sizes, /v1/epa/*) each count as 1 request separately. Your usage resets at the start of each billing cycle.
Additional requests are rejected with a 429 Too Many Requests response. There are no surprise overage charges — ever. You can upgrade your plan at any time to immediately restore access and increase your quota for the rest of the billing period.
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated to the day — you only pay for the remainder of the billing period. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle so you keep your current tier until then.
